Welcome to the December newsletter and if it is not too early to say it: Festive Greetings.

First, we have got some fantastic news about an exciting development to our activity in 2012. In January we are launching a new online resource for creative people across the South West - the Media Innovation Network. There will be more news and information on this amazing new service just before Christmas.

We have got some fab events coming up too – so book now to avoid disappointment:

15^th December – CREATIVE NETWORKING EVENT - Join us for some festive fun at the Devonport Guildhall with members of Arts Matrix, Designed in Devon, Formation Zone, and Plymouth Music Forum. We kick off at 7pm with a glass of mulled wine and a mince pie Click here to book now.

26^th January – LEADING YOUR COMPANY IN 2012 - Start the year ahead of your competitors by joining us for a special workshop developed especially for Creative companies and delivered by the fabulous Emma Collins. First a reminder of our remaining Autumn events:

Breaking into Media - 14th November.

This event is now fully booked. It takes place on 14th November at Plymouth University and it's going to be a fantastic opportunity for 300 students from across the region to find out about careers in the media sector.

Christmas Networking - 15th December (date to be confirmed)
A joint event with our partners in the Creative Network: Arts Matrix, Designed in Devon, Formation Zone, and Plymouth Music Forum. More details will follow very soon

And now news of our first event of 2012:

Leading Your Company in 2012 - 26th January 2012

This dynamic and engaging day will help creative business owners and team leaders to understand the challenges and opportunities presented by the 2012 economic climate, and grow their understanding and confidence in being a leader and good people manager. The workshop is aimed at Buisness owners, directors, managers and team leaders as well as sole traders employing contract or freelance staff.

Delegate fees for this intensive workshop are just £149 per person but you may be eligible for LMAS funding which will reduce the cost to just £74.50. Click here for further information.
